Little Stevie Wonder

June 22, 1963 marked the release of Little Stevie Wonder's hit single Fingertips, Pt. 2. This song was Motown's second big record and really put them on the map.

I can assure you youngsters that this record of Stevie's was as fresh and tantalizing and mezmerizing and groundbreaking as The Beatle's first hits.

  1. Remember how you almost had to pick sides? You either liked soul, in all its flavors, or the English beat.

Doo Wop, Elvis, Gene Pitney were over.

    There was no going back.
